The Dr-650 engine does not look at all like a LS-650 engine on the outside. Check engine specs. I thike that you will find that the BORE & STROKE are also different.
It would be nice if the head and camshaft are inter-changeable (exhaust and caburetor could be worked out).
Ask a knowlegeable (dealer) mecanic if such interchageablity is possible. I doubt that it is!
